Tennis Just Got More Rewarding!
Any tennis coach, team captain, Local League Coordinator or other tennis enthusiast will be rewarded with a cash prize when adding six new tennis players to a new or existing team in 2012. New players must be at the 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 levels within Southern and must be participating in USTA Leagues for the first time. FREE CLINIC FOR NEW BEGINNER PLAYERS - Two Dates - Two Locations
If you are 18 and over and interested in getting into tennis, The Tennis Association of Louisville Kentucky "TALK" is offering a free clinic for Adults 18 and over who are new to the sport. It will be held at the Bass Rudd Tennis Center (U of L) on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 PM. On May 21, 2012 we will also hold a free clinic at Springhurst Tennis Club from 12:00-2:00 PM. To reserve your spot please call Donna Stedman at 418-3878 or e-mail donnastedman@louisvilleleaguetennis.com or kkutz@fbtlaw.com. There will be a $100.00 incentive to the current USTA player who sends the most players to the clinic.

2011 USTA Adult and Senior League Registration
Registration is now open for the 2011 Adult/Senior team creation. A minimum of eight players must be registered by Friday, December 10, 2010 for 3.0-4.5 levels, five players for 2.5 and 5.0 levels and six players for the Senior League. If you are looking for a team please contact Donna Stedman at donnastedman@louisvilleleaguetennis.com or 418-3878. League play will start on January 7, 2011. Schedule will be posted on Tennislink or before December 31, 2010.

2.0 League
The Louisville League has developed a Project Team to start a 2.0 League. 2.0 is a beginner level and open to all Men and Women ages 18 and over. If you are interested in joining a 2.0 team contact Donna Stedman at 502 418-3878
Free Clinic's
TALK offered four Free Clinics in March and April bringing over 60 new players out for tennis. It was a huge success and we hope to see these players in our 2.0 League this summer.
