USTA League Tennis is the world’s largest recreational tennis league! Approximately 375,000 players compete nationwide, with over 114,00 adult and senior players coming from the Southern Section alone. Louisville is proud to host the largest USTA league programs in Kentucky!

 

CONGRATULATIONS!!! 
Congratulations to the Beauvois 3.0 Women's team from Louisville for winning the 2008 Sectional Championship in Mobile, AL.  They will advance to the National Championship in October.   Also, Louisville's 5.0 Women's team Captained by Allison Scanlan who won the 2007 National Championship will compete in the 5.5 level at the 2008 National Championship.   Good Luck to both teams!!!

 

2008 Southern Combo Doubles
The 2008 Southern Combo Doubles League will open registration on July 4, 2008.  The initial roster deadline for 6 players to be registered is August 1, 2008.  Matches will start on the weekend of August 15, 2008 and play through October 15, 2008.  The State Championship will be held here in Louisville November 7 -9, 2008.  If you are interested in playing and don't have a team contact Donna Stedman @ 418-3878 or donnastedman@louisvilleleaguetennis.com

Rating appeals will all be done on line through TennisLink this year.  2007 Year End Ratings were published on November 26, 2007.   Log on to TennisLink and click on "Find a Rating".   Enter your USTA #.     If you choose to appeal this rating click on the "appeal rating" link and follow instructions.  Your granted or denied response will be immediate.  Captains, please share this information with all of your players.

"T A L K "  Tennis Association Louisville Kentucky
The USTA Louisville League is now acting under the newly formed CTA - "T A L K".  A Community Tennis Association (CTA) is a not-for-profit tennis specific organization that exists to utilize USTA and other effective programming to promote and develop the game of tennis in the community.  CTAs are successful because of dedicated volunteers and professionals who come together to support community tennis programs by serving as advocates, program administrators, promoters, or fundraisers who assess tennis programs, identify program needs and recruit the personnel to start-up or expand tennis programs.  Current CTA Board:

2007 Southern Regulation REVISION
The Southern Section has made a revision to their regulations for 2007.  They will NOT use NTRP Tournament results in the NTRP rating calculation for 2007.

Level Representatives
The Louisville League is pleased to announce we have Level Representatives for some of our levels in the Adult and Senior league. We are still looking for players to fill some levels.  If you are interested in volunteering to represent your level, contact Donna Stedman.  Please visit the Captains Corner to see our Representatives.  These representatives will be assisting the local league as well as acting as a liaison between the Captains/Players and the Local Adult League Committee. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please e-mail your representative.
